Authenticated user-record access via unchecked id parameter
Published May 13, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Improper authorization in manage_user.php in Online Laundry Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read other users' records. The endpoint uses the user-controlled id parameter to select a user record without verifying that the requester is authorized for that identifier. A valid low-privilege session is required, and the demonstrated consequence is unauthorized access to another user's account data.
