Deserialization in PyTorch RemoteModule 2.4.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code through distributed RPC. The distributed RPC primitives accept connections without authorization and execute received workloads without validation. Network access to a running distributed program is required; PyTorch treats this behavior as an intended trust model, so the CVE is disputed.
