Authenticated SQL injection via activity ID parameter
Published May 12, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
SQL injection in College Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to alter database queries through an HTTP id parameter. The each_extracurricula_activities.php handler fails to neutralize SQL syntax in the attacker-controlled id value before using it in a database statement. A valid low-privilege session is required, and successful exploitation changes the intended query executed with the application database account.
