Unauthenticated session hijacking via predictable session IDs

Predictable session IDs in Rittal IoT Interface and CMC III firmware before 6.21.00.2 allow remote attackers to hijack active sessions. The json.cgi generate_sessionID function calls rand() before srand(), so the first random value is constant and only the process ID effectively seeds later output. An attacker needs network access and an active victim session; successful prediction grants the victim's web-interface privileges without credentials.
