DLL hijacking in Siemens Solid Edge SE2024 before V224.0 Update 9 allows local users to execute arbitrary code through a crafted DLL. The affected executable, DLL name, and search directory are undisclosed; the application resolves and loads a crafted DLL through an uncontrolled search-path element. Exploitation requires local low-privileged access and user interaction, and the resulting code executes within the affected process.
