Privilege escalation via inadequately validated hijacked DLL
Published Feb 17, 2025 · Updated Feb 18, 2025
Privilege escalation in TXOne Networks StellarProtect (Legacy Mode), StellarEnforce, and Safe Lock allows local users to gain elevated privileges. The affected integrity-check path accepts a previously hijacked DLL without adequately validating its integrity before loading it. Exploitation requires low-privileged local access, prior DLL replacement, and active user interaction, and grants elevated execution on the device.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
