Administrator-only blind SQL injection via group-memberships API
Published Oct 4, 2024 · Updated Oct 4, 2024
Blind SQL injection in SonarSource SonarQube 10.4 through 10.5 allows remote authenticated users with administrator access to issue SQL commands. The authorizations/group-memberships API endpoint incorporates request data into database queries without adequately neutralizing SQL syntax; the responsible code locus is undisclosed. Exploitation requires the SonarQube Administrator role, and blind responses permit database inference without returning query results directly.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
