Root command execution via privileged SUID binary

Privilege escalation in Siemens InterMesh 7177 and 7707 subscriber firmware before 8.2.12 and 7.2.12 allows local users to execute commands as root. A SUID binary executes attacker-controlled commands with its effective root identity, but Siemens has not disclosed the binary name or input path. Exploitation requires authenticated local access; the 7707 is affected only when its IP interface is enabled, which is not the default.
