CVE-2024-47902Network attack vector

Unauthenticated system command execution via GET requests

Published Oct 23, 2024 · Updated Oct 23, 2024

Missing authentication in Siemens InterMesh subscribers before 8.2.12 and 7.2.12 allows remote attackers to execute OS commands. The embedded web server accepts specific GET requests, including a ping action, without verifying the requester's identity. Network reachability is sufficient; the 7707 is exposed only when its nondefault IP interface is enabled.
