Cross-site scripting in OpenRefine before 3.8.3 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript via a malicious imported project. Command.respondWithErrorPage passes exception messages and stack traces into the error.vt Velocity template without HTML escaping, so browsers interpret embedded tags as active content. Exploitation requires a victim to import an attacker-controlled project; successful script execution acts with the victim's browser access to the local service.
