SQL injection in OpenRefine 3.4-beta through 3.8.2 allows remote attackers to execute code through the SQLite database extension. SQLiteConnectionManager incorporated an untrusted database path into a JDBC URL, allowing enable_load_extension=true and a load_extension query to execute a local or remote library. The instance must be network-accessible, and successful exploitation grants code execution with the OpenRefine process's access.
