CVE-2024-47832Network attack vector

Authentication bypass via ambiguous XML signature paths

Published Oct 9, 2024 · Updated Oct 11, 2024

XML signature bypass in SSOReady Docker images before 7f92a06 allows remote attackers to bypass SAML authentication using certain IdP-signed messages. The internal/saml/dsig path matcher accepts the first of multiple XML children matching the same signature path instead of rejecting ambiguity, allowing parsers to resolve signed content differently. Exploitation requires access to certain IdP-signed messages and a self-hosted deployment; the public hosted service is unaffected.
