Browser script execution via unescaped Markdown rendering
Published Oct 7, 2024 · Updated Oct 8, 2024
Cross-site scripting in Lara Zeus Dynamic Dashboard 3.0.0 through 3.0.1 allows attackers to execute script in a viewer's browser. The paragraph widget passes untrusted content to Laravel's Markdown renderer and emits the resulting HTML without neutralizing embedded markup. Exploitation requires attacker-controlled widget content and a user to open the rendered page, enabling script execution in that user's browser context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
