Improper permissions in a database function in Siemens SINEC NMS before 3.0 SP1 allow local users to write arbitrary host files. The function authorizes filesystem writes without restricting the destination path, allowing arbitrary content at any host location. Exploitation requires an authenticated medium-privileged account and can alter or destroy files used by the application or other host components.
