Cleartext credential transmission in D3D Security IP Camera D8801 allows remote attackers to obtain credentials via crafted HTTP packets. The HTTP authorization mechanism places the username and password in a Base64-encoded authorization tag that a crafted request exposes. The attack requires network reachability to the camera's HTTP service, and the documented consequence is credential disclosure without integrity or availability impact.
