Agent inventory disclosure via unchecked request proxy
Published Feb 3, 2025 · Updated Feb 4, 2025
Improper privilege management in Wazuh Dashboard 4.9.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to view the agent list. The POST /api/request proxy accepts a GET request for /agents from an account with no assigned role and returns inventory data instead of enforcing the agent-list permission. A valid dashboard session is required, and the response exposes agent names, addresses, operating systems, versions, groups, and status without reported availability impact.
