Higher-privilege account takeover via undisclosed API flaw
Published Dec 11, 2024 · Updated Dec 11, 2024
Improper access control in GLPI 9.1.0 through 10.0.16 allows remote authenticated users with API access to take over higher-privilege accounts. The vendor has not published the affected API endpoint or the authorization operation that fails to restrict which account a technician can control. Exploitation requires technician-level credentials and API access, and successful use grants control of an account above that technician's privilege level.
