Kernel memory corruption via mutable xattr offset

Use-after-free in Linux kernel ext4 allows local users to corrupt kernel memory through a mounted image with mutable backing storage. ext4_find_inline_entry uses inode data without revalidating a changed system.data e_value_offs, so ext4_search_dir follows a stale out-of-bounds pointer. Exploitation requires control of the image backing store and cache invalidation and can disclose or overwrite adjacent kernel memory or crash the system.
