Out-of-bounds read via short SCSI VPD page

Out-of-bounds read in the Linux kernel SCSI disk driver allows attackers to read past a VPD buffer during device probing. sd_read_block_characteristics() accepts a block-characteristics page whose reported length is exactly eight bytes, then reads the zoned field at offset eight, one byte beyond the buffer. Reachability requires a device or device emulator to return that short page; published sources do not establish data disclosure, code execution, or a reliable crash.
