Soft lockup via fsnotify watch-removal contention

Denial of service in Linux kernel fsnotify since 2.6.38 allows local users to trigger a soft lockup by removing a directory watch. __fsnotify_update_child_dentry_flags() walks numerous child dentries while holding inode->i_lock, contending with concurrent child-notification updates. A local user must create a directory with many dentries and race watch removal against child access; the resulting contention stalls kernel work.
