Cross-account takeover via mobile-number-only login
Published Oct 4, 2024 · Updated Oct 4, 2024
Authentication bypass in Shilpi Computers Client Dashboard before 9.7.0 allows remote attackers to take over accounts using mobile numbers. The login module treats a submitted mobile number as sufficient proof of identity and grants access to the corresponding user's account. Knowledge of a target's mobile number enables complete account access; the CNA severity assessment also identifies low privileges as a prerequisite.
