Unauthenticated redirection via unvalidated destination URL
Published Oct 10, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Open redirection in Metagauss EventPrime 4.0.4.5 and earlier allows remote attackers to send users to an untrusted site via crafted links. Patchstack states that the plugin accepts a redirect URL without validation but does not identify the affected parameter, endpoint, or code locus. Exploitation requires no authentication but requires a user to follow the crafted link; the documented consequence is redirection that can support phishing.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
