Firmware and memory access via startup voltage glitch

Fault injection in Microchip SAM E70/S70/V70/V71, G55, 4C/4S/4N/4E, and 3S/3N/3U MCUs allows attackers to bypass debug locking. During startup, the EEFC reads the flash security bit without sufficient voltage-glitch protection, so a precisely timed voltage drop makes the enabled bit read as disabled. Physical access, power-analysis or timing equipment, a fault injector, and a debug probe enable firmware and SRAM extraction plus control of registers and peripherals.
