Restricted file disclosure via proxy cache reuse
Published Nov 12, 2024 · Updated Nov 12, 2024
Information disclosure in SAP NetWeaver Application Server ABAP allows remote attackers to read restricted server files over a network. A Web Dispatcher or proxy can reuse cached content from a file previously opened or downloaded through SAP GUI for HTML and return it without authentication. Exploitation requires that proxy configuration, prior user interaction with the target file, and network access; only confidentiality is affected.
