Privilege escalation via shared import-export authorization
Published Dec 10, 2024 · Updated Dec 10, 2024
Missing authorization in SAP NetWeaver AS ABAP and ABAP Platform SAP_BASIS 740 and 750 allows remote authenticated users to gain higher access. The affected import and export authorization path applies a single authorization to both operations instead of enforcing their distinct permissions. An authenticated account and network access are required; successful exploitation exposes limited data but does not alter data or interrupt service.
