CVE-2024-47576

Local command execution via untrusted DLL loading

Published Dec 10, 2024 · Updated Dec 10, 2024

DLL hijacking in SAP Product Lifecycle Costing Client before 4.7.1 allows local users to run code through a replaced Windows DLL. The client loads an on-demand Windows DLL from the local computer without ensuring the selected library is trusted, so a malicious replacement executes in the client process. A local low-privileged user must first place or replace that DLL; the published impact is limited to reading data available to the client, with no integrity or availability impact.
