Local privilege escalation via spoofed named-pipe messages

Improper access control in FortiClient for Windows allows local users to execute arbitrary code with high privileges through named pipes. FCDBLog trusts the executable path of a hollowed FortiClient process, accepts its named-pipe commands, and launches FCConfig as SYSTEM to import attacker-chosen configuration. A low-privileged account can install a connection script that runs when a higher-privileged user connects, alter SYSTEM-level registry values, or delete sensitive logs.
