CVE-2024-47518Network attack vector

Authenticated session disclosure via specially constructed queries

Published Jan 10, 2025 · Updated Jan 13, 2025

Information disclosure in Arista Edge Threat Management 17.1.0 through 17.1.1 allows remote authenticated users to discover active sessions. ETM exposes active Remote Access session information when it processes specially constructed queries, but Arista has not published the affected endpoint or exact validation failure. Exploitation requires a user to log in to ETM, open Remote Access for a target NG Firewall appliance, and leave that connection running.
