FPC hangs via evo-pfemand GUID exhaustion
Published Oct 11, 2024 · Updated Oct 11, 2024
Resource exhaustion in evo-pfemand in Juniper Networks Junos OS Evolved allows remote authenticated users to hang FPCs. Specific SNMP GET operations or low-privileged CLI commands leak GUID resources until the finite GUID space is exhausted. Access to an authenticated management interface is required, and affected FPCs remain hung until they are manually restarted.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
