Unauthenticated device restart via unterminated HTTPS processes

Uncontrolled resource consumption in Junos OS httpd allows remote attackers to crash and restart affected devices with crafted HTTPS requests. The daemon creates processes for specific HTTPS connections but fails to terminate them, allowing the process count to grow until resources are exhausted. No authentication is required, and sustained requests ultimately interrupt service by crashing and automatically restarting the network device.
