CVE-2024-47464Network attack vector

File disclosure via CLI path traversal

Published Nov 5, 2024 · Updated Nov 6, 2024

Path traversal in Aruba Instant AOS-8 and AOS-10 allows remote authenticated users to copy arbitrary files through the CLI. The CLI accepts a crafted source path and copies the referenced file into a user-readable location; HPE has not disclosed the responsible command or validation failure. Administrative CLI access is required, and the resulting exposure is limited to reading files that can be staged through this operation.
