Arbitrary file creation in the Instant AOS-8 and AOS-10 CLI allows remote authenticated users to execute commands on the host OS. HPE has not disclosed the affected CLI command or how it fails to constrain the destination path or file contents. High-privilege CLI access is required, and successful exploitation can alter the device filesystem and execute commands on the underlying OS.
