Subscriber-level raffle disclosure via missing capability check
Published Jun 10, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Missing authorization in RafflePress 1.12.4 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to preview raffles without permission. The resources/views/rafflepress-giveaway.php view omits a WordPress capability check before rendering a giveaway preview. Subscriber-level access is sufficient; the documented consequence is unauthorized preview access, not raffle modification or service interruption.
