Arbitrary code execution via out-of-bounds write
Published Nov 12, 2024 · Updated Nov 16, 2024
Out-of-bounds write in Adobe After Effects 23.6.9 and 24.6.2 and earlier allows attackers to execute code via a malicious file. Adobe has not published the affected file parser or the specific bounds-checking error that writes beyond the intended buffer. Exploitation requires a victim to open the crafted file, after which code runs with the privileges of the current user.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
