Code execution via malicious file parsing
Published Nov 12, 2024 · Updated Nov 12, 2024
Out-of-bounds write in Adobe Substance 3D Painter 10.1.0 and earlier allows attackers to execute code when a victim opens a malicious file. Adobe has not identified the affected file format, parser, malformed field, or buffer operation beyond the out-of-bounds write. Exploitation requires user interaction and runs attacker-supplied code with the privileges of the user who opens the file.
