Code execution via malicious file use-after-free
Published Oct 9, 2024 · Updated Oct 9, 2024
Use-after-free in Adobe Animate 23.0.7 and 24.0.4 and earlier allows attackers to execute code when a user opens a malicious file. Adobe has not disclosed the affected parser, object lifetime, or stale-reference operation that leaves freed memory accessible while processing the file. Exploitation requires the victim to open the crafted file and runs attacker-controlled code with the victim's current-user privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
