Unauthenticated command execution via unsanitized email parameter
Published Nov 22, 2024 · Updated Nov 25, 2024
OS command injection in mySCADA PRO Manager before 1.3 and PRO Runtime before 9.2.1 allows remote attackers to execute commands. The unauthenticated /get handler places the testEmail email value into an operating system command without neutralizing shell separators. A crafted value containing command separators executes with the automatically created myscada9 administrative user's privileges, enabling host compromise.
