Administrator stored XSS via insufficient sanitization
Published Oct 5, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Stored XSS in Search Atlas SEO 1.8.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts into pages viewed by other users. The plugin stores input without sufficient sanitization and renders it without output escaping; public advisories do not name the affected field or function. Administrator access is required, and exploitation is limited to multisite installations or sites where unfiltered_html is disabled; injected scripts execute when another user opens the affected page.
