Editor-level script execution via stored content
Published Oct 5, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Stored XSS in Averta Depicter 3.2.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users with Editor access to run scripts in visitors' browsers. Patchstack has not published the affected input or code locus, but states that attacker-supplied script is stored and later rendered to a visitor. Exploitation requires Editor privileges and a separate user's interaction with the stored content, exposing that user's browser-session data and page integrity.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
