Stored XSS via unsanitized vary header
Published Oct 5, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Stored XSS in LiteSpeed Cache for WordPress 6.5.0.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject scripts through an HTTP header. The Page Optimization queue records the unsanitized X-LSCACHE-VARY-VALUE header and renders it without safe output encoding in the administrative queue display. CSS Combine and Generate UCSS must be enabled, and execution occurs when a privileged user opens the affected queue view.
