Stored XSS via unneutralized task_subject rendering
Published May 10, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Stored cross-site scripting in CampCodes Legal Case Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to inject script via task_subject. The /admin/tasks workflow renders the stored task_subject value without neutralizing browser-active markup, causing attacker-controlled script to execute in a viewer's browser. A low-privileged account can submit the value, and exploitation requires another user to view the affected task content.
