Stored browser script execution via insufficient sanitization
Published Oct 6, 2024 · Updated May 12, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in Brainstorm Force Starter Templates 4.4.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts. Public advisories do not identify the affected parameter or function; they attribute persistence to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. Author-level access is required, and the payload executes when another user visits the injected page, exposing that browser session to attacker-controlled code.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
