Unauthenticated email verification via insufficient request validation
Published Nov 1, 2024 · Updated May 11, 2026
Missing authorization in Fluent Support 1.8.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to verify email addresses they do not control. The sendSignupEmailVerificationHtml() function insufficiently validates the email-verification request before accepting the supplied address as verified. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the bounded consequence is bypass of mailbox-ownership proof during portal signup.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
