Permission handling in Huawei HarmonyOS and EMUI allows local privileged users to disrupt device availability through ActivityManagerService. Huawei has not disclosed which ActivityManagerService permission check is missing or how untrusted input reaches the faulty authorization path. Exploitation requires local high privileges and can interrupt availability, but published evidence does not identify a hang, crash, reboot, or shutdown.
