Browser script execution via unsanitized court name
Published May 10, 2024 · Updated Aug 21, 2024
Cross-site scripting in Legal Case Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript through a crafted court name. The /admin/court handler places the court_name parameter into generated HTML without validation, sanitization, or context-appropriate encoding. Administrative access to the court form and a later page view are required; the published proof of concept reads the viewer's session cookie.
