Browser script execution via unneutralized category parameter
Published May 10, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Cross-site scripting in CampCodes Complete Web-Based School Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to run browser script via category. The index.php page places attacker-controlled category input into generated web content without neutralizing it before browser interpretation. Exploitation requires a victim to open the crafted request; the script then runs in the application's browser origin and can read or alter data exposed to that origin.
