CVE-2024-47179Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Repository takeover via unvalidated workflow artifact extraction

Published Sep 26, 2024 · Updated Oct 2, 2024

Artifact poisoning in DIYgod RSSHub before commit 64e00e7 allows remote authenticated users to execute code in a privileged workflow. The docker-test-cont.yml workflow extracts an unvalidated pull-request artifact into the workspace root, allowing an injected package.json preinstall script to run during pnpm installation. Exploitation requires a successfully completed pull-request build and a routes block in the pull-request body; deployed RSSHub instances and downstream users are unaffected.
