CVE-2024-47169Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated code execution via traversal-based JavaScript upload

Published Sep 26, 2024 · Updated Sep 26, 2024

Arbitrary file upload in Agnaistic Agnai before 1.0.330 allows remote authenticated users to execute server commands via a crafted request. The entityUploadBase64 function derives a filename from the remote _id, accepts an attacker-chosen extension and Base64 content, and passes both to local storage without path or type validation. Exploitation requires an authenticated account on a publicly hosted self-managed installation that uses local rather than S3-compatible storage, and it permits server file overwrite and code execution.
