CVE-2024-47151

Code execution via dangerous file upload

Published Dec 26, 2024 · Updated Dec 26, 2024

Unrestricted dangerous-file upload in HONOR MagicOS 8.0.0.1 through 8.0.0.134 allows local users to execute code via crafted files. The public record identifies unrestricted upload of a dangerous file type, but HONOR has not disclosed the component, file-handling path, or validation error that permits the write. Exploitation requires local access, high complexity, and user interaction; successful execution can compromise confidentiality and integrity without a reported service interruption.
