Browser script execution via unneutralized grade name
Published May 10, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Cross-site scripting in update_grade.php in Complete Web-Based School Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts. The handler processes attacker-controlled data in the name argument without the output neutralization required for safe HTML generation. Exploitation requires application access and a user to load the affected output, where the injected script executes in that user's browser context.
